Getting TO/AROUND: There are two companies that fly inside Israel to south and north: Those companies also has flights to and from Europe but that is mostly to Eilat. And this days there are flights to other parts of the world as well, for more details please check the following websites: 1. Arkia (the biggest) - for info: 1-700-700-255 http://www.arkia.co.il 2. IsrAir - for info: 03-7955777 http://www.israirairlines.com/ From Tel Aviv you can fly to Eilat from Sde Dov Airport, which is a small aiport in the northern part of the city. i like flying from there cause its a very very small one and takes short time to do all the requiered things before the flight. Time of the flight to Eilat Aprx. 50min'. Flights to Haifa and Rosh Pinna in the north are available as well.

Getting TO/AROUND: TRains in Israel today are a good way to travel though there's no lines to all areas in Israel so it wint fit you for all traveling around but you can check in the website below all the destinations it arrives to + of course timetables and prices. (As about prices i can say that traveling via train here is much cheapper then the prices in Europe !) April 2005: New line to Jerusalem (The train used to arrive to Jerusalem until 7 years ago and and now this line was renewed. The ride via trains takes a bit more then via bus but it should be a nice ride. Train from the Airport Another new thing as from November 2004 is the train to / from the airport, as you might know there's now new terminal - Terminal 3 -which is much bigger then the old one that used to be and there's a train that arrives right to this Terminal. However please note, at the late hours of night the train is not active and the if you arrive in in this late hours the only hour that the train works is at 3:53.am, the regular train starts later on in the morning.

Getting TO/AROUND: In most main roads all over the country you'll find signs both in Hebrew and English and also in many areas in Arabic. I think that the prolematic roads will be in the cities where most signs are in Hebrew only ... That is if you rent a car of cours other wise you should be okay.

Transportation: From Israel To Cairo

'Mode': TO
Category: Airplane
Getting TO/AROUND: This questions is frequently asked here since many people combine the (at least) two countries at same trip. So for the time being there is NO DIRECT bus or train from Israel to Cairo and v/v.
The options to cross the borders and get to Cairo are those: 1. Book a flight from Tel Aviv to Cairo
2. Take a bus or a fligh to Eilat at the south, At Eilat take a taxi or bus to the Egyptian Border and Take a bus in Taba to Cairo but this point should be check since im not sure if the bust leaves from Taba or Nuweiba.
3. You can cross the JORDANIAN border, take a taxi to Aqaba and there take a ferry to Sharm El sheikh and from there a bus or maybe even a flight to Cairo, However this option should be checked well, and besides, i think its a bit too complicated and should be a good option only if you want to go to sharm el sheikh.
VISA: Unlike when visiting sinay, when leaving sinay and going inland Egypt towards Cairo and other cities you MUST obtain a visa. So either do it at your homeland before flying or make sure to do it in the Egyptian border.
