Nof Hotel which in Hebrew means (Scenery/view/landscape Hotel) Is indeed a place where you have a great View all over Northern and easter Haifa, You can watch the port of Haifa below, and if there's a good visibility then you can easily see Akko (Acre). The Hotel is Located on Mount Carmel, just near the (relatively) new promanade. The rooms are nice though not posh, I think 3 floors are renovated and the other 2 or 3 are not, or at least thats how it was when i visited there so you might want to check this before booking. Staying at this area of Haifa is an advantage also for being close to many of Haifa attractions (not that tehre are too many) and the view is just great. Mind you during winter time its Cold out there.

The Ambassador Hotel: Hotel in Eilat

The Ambassador hotel is one of the nice hotels in Eilat to my opinion, although there are other hotels which may be more beautiful and posh. The Ambassador Hotel is a 4 starts hotel and is located a bit out of the center in the southern part of Eilat (near Club med hotel) which is more quiet and among the diving clubs area. The hotel's standard rooms are nice and comfortable, the balconies watch the lovely swimming pool, thr red sea, the mountains of Jordan and part of Aqaba (jordan) !! Service is great, breakfast is rich and yummi and basically i cant say anything bad about it. If you're coming to dive then you should know that two of the best diving centers are located near the hotel, One is the RSSC (red sea sport club) which is located at the hotel, and accross the road you can find the famous Aqua Sport club.

The Astor Hotel is a lovely one... not a backpackers hotel and not as posh as the Hilton. Located Between the Sheraton Hotel and the Dan hotel (Not the dan Panorama) in one of the best areas of the promanade watching the beach ...Small enough to be intimate and cozzy.. The staff is friendly and nice, Servic is great So what else do we need... Oh the rooms.... well i haven't stayed at the regular rooms so i dont know how they are, i know the suit which was nice comfi and had a Jacuzzy and lovely view. The price for a night is 650shekels which is aprx 120euro for a night and the regular rooms cost aprx 350shekels.
Unique Qualities: In Central Tel Aviv, few Steps from the beach.

This Small guest house is runned by German managment and located at the old city just about 5 min' walk from Jaffa gate... which means that when staying there you can really feel the atmosphere of the old city and that can be quite an experience !
The prices in the High season is bout 90 $ and in the low season just a bit less then that. And as far as i know credit cards are not accepted.
I cant add here any personal opinion cause i haven't stayed there only know a friend who have stayed there and was quite happy with it.
