We've went to bath for a one day trip. Its a lovely and Different town with no doubt. The feeling (for us at least) was that we're out of the UK, it felt like a combination of Prague, Paris and maybe other places. The city is very nice and has soe main famouse attractions but we mostly explored the little streets and nice houses we've seen around. We got to some small and hidden restaurants which was very nice. I trully recomend you to do that as the main streets are like main streets you know... go and explore whats behind it all. |

Herwig1961 Tue Dec 2, 2008 06:01 UTC interesting Infos.Beautiful fotos.thanks | akelly Sat May 27, 2006 09:56 UTC This place is just a tourist trap, where they herd tourists in as if they were cattle. I would never dream of going back here. | rwlittle Sun Jan 23, 2005 05:36 UTC Great tips! We loved our visit here too. | monkeyfeesh Mon Aug 18, 2003 13:40 UTC Sounds like you were unfortunate in your choice of pubs - Bath has some great pubs like the Old Green Tree, The Star, and The Bell. The first two in particular are like those you seem to have been looking for: they're very much traditional pubs. |
