.. Living Together...

by Sharon - last update: May 23, 2007

View on the northern part of Haifa.
Jewish Arabs and Christians.. all live together peacfuly ... Still !
A live example to how both sides can live together with no hate or violence.
Why can't all the others live like that as well ?

Haifa is located bout 90km northern to Tel Aviv. Its the third biggest city in Israel after Tel Aviv and Jerusalem.
One of the most beautiful and touching things about Haifa is to see how Jewish and Arabs (although mainly Christian Arabs but not only) still live together in Peace and understanding. So pitty it exsist only there.
Haifa has lots of History as well as some beautiful ruins or houses that hides many interesting stories..
The port of Haifa is the biggest one in Israel, tons of goods comes in and gos out through this port, also cruizes to and from Israel leaves from Haifa's port.

Haifa was developed a lot in the last decades and you can find there lots of museums, cafe's, restaurants, Bars, nice promenade by the sea , great views from Mount Carmel and of coures the unforgetable Bahai Shrine and gardens.

Mt Carmel looks wonderful and interesting to find out about the Bahai For me probably not this very first time, access guide says it's a difficult place due to the many slopes and hills :(
