The Amazing City

Jerusalem is the (well known) Capital city of Israel.
A Place where all religions are mixed, So much history to see and so much troubles caused of.....

April 2005 : After 4 years that i haven't been there (and its only about 45 min' drive from where i live) i have visited Jerusalem once again 2 weeks ago (March 2005)... If for a moment i forgot what always makes me uncomfortable or stressed at this city i needed only a few minutes of strolling around the old city and the Holly places.....
So i don't really like this city although i admit there's a lot to see and not only religiouse places but many other places as well, but i guess i'll give my self some long rest till my next time there....

May 2005: Well ... i guess i have given this city another chance... I went to a day trip to explore some other parts of the city which i never seen before such as En Kerem, Yemin Moshe etc'.... Well... what can i say ? Shame on me for not visiting there before, i really loved it, I dont think you can visit this places an not love them, SOOOO beautiful, so relaxing, not much of a religion feeling for me there (comparing to the feeling at the old city area) so the stress is gone... it was great !
Now i know where i'd like to go in my next time there....

26.7.2005 News:
As from today there's a new service in Jerusalem, a Real tourist bus (like in London) which calls "Jerusline", a double decker Bus which has no roof on its second floor and which is going to make it easier for those who can't or don't feel like exploring the city by foot.
The bus, Number 99, will be passing through 27 touristy / historical locations and the passengers will be able to get off the bus in each of those stations.
During the ride you will be able to listen to an explenations with an earphone in one of 8 languages.
The bus will have 5 tours a day from 9:00 - 17:00 and a ticket will cost 45shekels (aprx 10USD) for an adult and 36shekels for a kid.
Jerusalem under snow

Jerusalem under snow - 30.1.2008

Not an everyday thing !!! and this year it snowed twice in 3 weeks !
A Day trip to Jerusalem to to finally see it under snow :-)
Israel doesn't often get snow and usually it mainly snows in the north but also once or twice a year in Jerusalem (depends how lucky we are... and from which point of view you look at it) Anyway, We went this morning to Jerusalem looking forward to see the snow and the old city all white... It was pretty white and beautiful....but it was (partly) raining and snowing so it wasn't easy to photograph (i'll spare ya the details of how we were all soaked wet and frozen) and I'm not too happy with the results but here is one from today and i'll change them every day or two.

Jerusalem under snow

And thats from the night trip to see the snow ...at that same day i was in two different Spontanouse trips.... day trip and then the night trip which was planned on my way back at that same afternoon.
Jerusalem at night is simply BEAUTIFUL ! add the snow and its a dream.
At the british cemetary on mount scopous.

I am really offended by your comment toward Jews. This was there land 4000 years ago, given by G-d Himself and you, a stranger
