    • The Israeli Currency is NIS = New Israeli Shekel, in in short as we say Shekel.
    From time to time im updating here the Currency rates just to give an idea of the aprx current rate: If you must have an updated one then check it on the web.

    According to May 19th, 2007:

    1 Euro = 5.5 Shekels

    1 USD= 3.97 Shekels

    Yes thats a real culture here in Israel, Summer or winter time (when its not tooo cold and stormy) people like to play that game on the beach. If you like playing enjoying but if you go to the beach to get some relaxation and get away from the city noises then you better try to find your self a very quiet place on the beach where there aren't many people other wise the noise of the ball hitting this wood board(god knows what its name is) will get you nats ! oh and watch it when walking on the beach between all the peole who play it....
