¡Bienvenidos a Monterrey!
Monterrey es la tercera ciudad mas grande en México. Está en el noreste de México. A menudo, la gente lo llama “La Ciudad de las Montañas” porque hay muchas montañas aquí. En el verano, hace mucho calor, ¡aun más que Singapur! ¿Pueden creerlo? A veces, ¡Monterrey tiene una temperatura de 40 centigrados! Más recientemente, hace fresco, especialmente durante las noches.

Monterrey is the third largest city in Mexico. It is located in the northeastern part of Mexico. Often, the people called Monterrey "The City of the Mountains" because there are many mountains here. In the summer, it is very hot here, even more than Singapore! Can you believe it?? Sometimes, Monterrey has a temperature of 40 degrees celsius. However, recently, there's been a drop in the temperature, especially during the nights.

Estudio en el Tecnológico de Monterrey. Es una buena universidad, de hecho, es la mejor en todo de México y Latinoamérica. El campus en Monterrey tiene muchos estudiantes internacionales y mexicanos de otras ciudades en México. Es una pena que hay menos que 20 estudiantes de Asia.

I'm studying in Tecnológico de Monterrey. It's a good university, in fact, it's the best in all of Mexico and Latin America. The campus here in Monterrey has many international students and Mexicans from other cities in Mexico. It's a pity that there's less than 20 students from Asia.

Una de muchas diferencias es que el almuerzo en México es a las dos o tres de la tarde. Lo llamamos la comida del día. Comemos la carne con arroz o pasta. A veces, tenemos las sopas y ensaladas. La cena no empieza hasta las ocho de la noche y cenamos normalmente tortillas con queso y frijoles o bocadillos. La cena no es fuerte porque comienza tarde. Me gusta mucho la comida mexicana. ¡Es deliciosa! Claro, hay más tipos de comida pero no me acuerdo cómo se llaman.

Vivir en un país extranjero no es fácil, tampoco es vivir con una nueva familia. Pero durante este tiempo, se aprende mucho sobre uno mismo.
