This was taken in Richmond, a town near the city of Hobart. The town is peaceful with an old town kind of charm about it. Take a walk through the town, and you'll soon fall in love with it, like me!

Salamanca Market

If you're in Hobart, try to be there on a Sunday morning. There's a flea market that goes on quite a bit. I like this flower stall the most. All the different colours bursting into life!

Port Arthur

This was taken in Port Arthur, best taken as a daytrip out from Hobart.

There are alot of greenery, run-down buildings and gaols. You can also visit the church and see how the services were conducted.

We were told that the convicts were not allowed to look at each other in the eyes for fear of communication amongst them. Therefore, the inmates have to be led into separate cubicles, which are taller than the average man.

Some people have said that they felt an eerie presence about the whole place and a few have even photographs to show that there are other beings! Other than being a little scared while visiting the prison cells, the whole place looked very peaceful.
