Honeymoon suite ...VAJAT

This kind of houses are called VAJAT(vayat). They were used for just married couples, cause few generations were living in the same house... so young couples had some "privacy" in vajat:)
This one was made for my gradndparents.

Cardak ( chardak )

Place for keeping corn , since corn is used as animal food .Every house has one , they are basicaly very similar .
The roof is well covered to protect the corn from rain and snow , but sides are made to allow the air flow , so the corn can dry .

Mlekar

After the milk is " cooked "into cheese , that mass is left here to drain get cold and ticker ...Then they add some salt , and you have healthy home made white cheese .

Milk = mleko in serbian :)
