CN Tower: Go to the top of the CN Tower....

  • Go to the top of the CN Tower. Visit Toronto Zoo. take a day trip to Niagara Falls. Go shopping in Toronto. Travel by tram to Chinatown and have lunch. Check out St Lawrence Indoor Market.
Coach trip to Niagara Falls. Think it was with Gray Line. Very enjoyable trip and highly recommended. There were only about eight people on a full sized bus so plenty room. I enjoyed the journey there and back because you're seeing more of the country. I liked the way the road goes round the lake so at one point Toronto is opposite on the far side of the lake. Niagara the natural attraction was brilliant. Because it was March the boat trip to the foot of the falls wasn't operating. You had to make do with walking behind the water through tunnels in the rock. The noise of the water was terrific. A great place for taking photos.

  • Visit the CN Tower. We really enjoyed this. Scary from the outside but once you get in the lift [which is outside by the way] you're too busy enjoying the view. As with all high building/structure attractions get there when it opens otherwise you'll queue for ages even off-season. You also get more time and space when you the top level. Cost for the CN Tower, March 01 was CDN $48.12 for two people. Two cups of tea in the restaurant was CDN$ 6. A small part of the floor at the top of the Tower is made from glass giving you a terrifying view straight down. Walking across it depends on your fear threshold. Not for vertigo sufferers put it that way! When we were there a party of Japanese tourists were having great fun jumping up and down on it. Great views of the city, the lake and of a little commuter airport.
