How small, how nice...

by AndyRG - last update: May 29, 2003

Valletta is the capital of Malta, a small country which comprises three islands, Malta -the biggest one, where Valletta is- Gozo and Comino. It is 90 km south of Sicily and 230 km north of Africa. The country is independent since 21/9/1964.
Malta has a rich history (there are prehistoric temples over 5000 years old, some of the world's most impressive monuments), nice weather, friendly people, it is ideal for water sports... Its capital is an exact representative of these characteristics.

Love your photos. It's a beautiful great place, especially that magnificent harbour. As you say so easy to walk around and you're walking in history on every street.
