Valletta is the capital of Malta, a small country which comprises three islands, Malta -the biggest one, where Valletta is- Gozo and Comino. It is 90 km south of Sicily and 230 km north of Africa. The country is independent since 21/9/1964. Malta has a rich history (there are prehistoric temples over 5000 years old, some of the world's most impressive monuments), nice weather, friendly people, it is ideal for water sports... Its capital is an exact representative of these characteristics. |

As you say so easy to walk around and you're walking in history on every street. | mangueirense Thu Jun 12, 2003 10:52 UTC Would love to visit Malta, sounds so interesting and beautiful! | kedi+ Wed May 7, 2003 15:33 UTC Malta is in my list..
