This very important event was the reason that has made Athens to look totally different than the previous years. Athenians celebrated with all the world between 13-29 August 2004 (the Paralympic Games were one month later, between 17-28 September), probably the Olympic Games -back to their birthplace- found again a little from their ancient spirit...
It was an amazing period which will never be forgotten!
