Not only small...

Poros is a small (31 square km) and picturesque island not far away from Athens -32 nautical miles south of Piraeus- and easily accessible even by land, just 5' by ferry from Galatas, the nearby town in the mainland.
It is surrounded by pine trees, olives, lemon trees (the famous "Lemon Forest" is near Galatas) and not crowded beaches, as Kaneli, Askeli, Monastiri, Vagioni, Neorion etc.

Am returning to Poros on May 7th for the tenth time. We always feel as though we are going home, as the place is so relaxing and the people are very friendly and helpful.
