The historical and artistic town of Spetses has kept this character thanks to its friendly inhabitants too...
Spetsiot pebble mosaics (which decorate yards and squares), wall-paintings, the traditional naval architecture are all admirable!

Transportation-nightlife

Transportation (not only in the town, but all over the island) is mainly carried out with motorbikes, bicycles (the best solution!), sea and land taxis, even 2 buses at the summer period. Luckily, it is forbidden to go there with your own car...
About the nightlife, Spetses is a quiet town, but hot spots -even in Baltiza, the old port- are not missing...
