From Rethymno to Psiloreitis...

by AndyRG - last update: Sep 29, 2003

Caves, beaches, monuments or mountains?

Rethymno, Fortetza
The prefecture of Rethymno is between the prefecture of Chania (west) and the one of Irakleio (east). The highest mountain of the island, Psiloreitis -and one of the highest of Greece- dominates the other attractions, as Arcadi, traditional villages (Anogeia), beautiful beaches, caves...
Agios Yakinthos, the church of people in love...
Arcadi, alive history!

Wonderful page! Arcadi is so beautiful now, really sad to remember the bad things happening there.

Great page Andreas! I have to make a start reading more of your new Greece pages! So much pages you've written the last few months! Hahaha, I love to dream about going to Greece and hopefully I will make it reality some day! :-)

We'll have to bring some Cretians here to Kodiak for a sign shooting competition! Our signs have the same problem! I know the feeling Hercules had when you got to the top! Cool page Andy!
