What to write about this city that has not been written already... Surely, it is the place of the world where you can see most of the places of interest (parks, museums, galleries, buildings, churches etc.) concentrated. This happens especially at the wide centre of the city, where 2 million people live. At this photo above, you can see the back side of Notre-Dame (it is "alive" since 1163, they were building that church for... 170 years), it is the building which is connected more closely to the history of Paris. |
500 pictures are not enough... At the last time of my visit there, I had taken about 500 pictures of the city in slides and only 1 film with a simple compact camera (so, there are a few pictures here, in comparison with the beauty of the french capital)... An advice: buy the museum pass, for 1-3-5 days you can have free admission in more than 70 museums and monuments, with unlimited visits. Also, get a 7-days card for the metro, there are about 300 stations, you can go everywhere by it... |
