Rhodes is – like other Greece Island – worth to visit.
It has a mild climate and the sun is shining about 300 days a year
The island has a natural beauty and a long history
It has an area of 1,400 sq. km. and a coastline length of 220 km. It has a length of 77 km and breadth of 35 km.
The highest mountain is Attavyros with 1,215m. height-, with small plains, verdant ravines and river beds, valleys and plateaus and long sandy beaches.
On the east coast is the Mediterranean Sea and on the West coast the Aegean Sea.
The different between these two seas ?
Well it is about 5 to 10 degrees warmer on the Mediterranean and almost no wind. On the Aegean Sea there are more waves, excellent for sailing or surfing.
