Maasmechelen is located in the Meuse River valley, along the Dutch border on the eastern fringe of Flanders.
It has a population of 35,000.
The E313 roadway passes east-west through Maasmechelen, continuing on across the Meuse into the Netherlands.



Every year there is an election for "Miss Belgian Look"
This year my son's girlfriend is one of the 20 finalist for "Miss Belgian Look 2004".
And ofcourse we are proud ;-)
