The very popular Trier Christmas market is an institution. I mean, it is very popular. Just as popular as the one in Frankfurt and in Nuremberg.
Drink the Gluhwein, a traditional sweet wine served hot.
Many people go to the market in the christmas time, some of them go there to warm up to further nightlife. I include myself in this group.
