  • Tip Rating:
  • Fox Studios might be considered a tourist trap because there doesn't seem to be too much there that is unique to Australia. There aren't that many restaurants or shops. There was a private party at the Hordern Pavilion and Royal Hall of Industries when I was there but it wasn't too unusual. I did win a bunny at the shooting gallery and a penguin at darts so I shouldn't complain.

  • Tip Rating:
  • You can watch a woman making candles at the Harbourside Shopping Centre in Darling Harbour (ground floor). It's a shop in the central walkway.

  • Tip Rating:
  • The Olympic Park is an interesting place, but also a tourist trap. If one arrives by ferry (to Homebush Bay), I would suggest taking the 401 bus. It's a lot cheaper than the $10 Olympic Explorer bus and goes to the same place. Once you get there, you can walk around to see the different stadiums.
