I have been to Lille many times. I don't have any digital photos so I've created this short version page. Examples of my long version page that have lots of text and photos include the Sydney Australia and San Francisco USA pages.

Lille is one of the largest cities in France. Located near the northern border with Belgium, it is often overlooked by many tourist who, instead, visit London and Paris. It's home to one of the largest private universities in France. I'm not sure what the official name is. People call it "La Catho", the letterhead says "Federation universitaire et polytechnique de Lille" or "Institut Catholique", and I've heard it called "Catholic University of Lille". Some probably knows the answer.

Lille is also site of the first automated, driver-less metro system.
