Brainerd has alot of activities, including fishing, swimming, and boating on several of the nearby lakes. There are also shops for those little trinkets you just have to have so you can remember your vacation. Brainerd also has go-cart locations. The big "must see" is Paul Bunyan. It is a small amusement park, but the best part, you don't have to pay to take your picture with "Babe" the blue ox. It stands right outside the doorway. It has been several years, so maybe some updates have been made in this matter.
