Not so simple to get to, but then again, transportation is not so simple in Eritrea. The Eritrean people are really fantastic, and will bend over backwards to help crazy stuck foreigners. This picture is from Qohaito after quite an adventure getting there (and back). Most of the ruins are still uncovered. Interesting to see, but don't expect to be able to see glorious ruins. Maybe when they are uncovered, they will be more interesting. |
