This perfectly fine hotel is very economical, and well situated. I arrived in Riobamba in the late afternoon, and there was only one room left. The bathroom was small, but the water was hot.

Unique Qualities: The hotel is one of those Andean establishments built around a courtyard. Therefore, it is not very quiet, but the noise level was reasonable. The service staff was most helpful and courteous. The restaurant opens at 5 a.m. on train days.
