It was quick decission :) Like every year with my friend we started to think about next year holidays. We used to go for one week trips to not far away countries just to rest. But then we thought why not to go somewhere else, to see different country and culture. So we chose Cuba and in August 2008 we made a reservation for March 2009. It was long time to wait but it was worth waiting.

If only it wasn't so far away :) It was my first trip across the ocean, 15 hours in the plane is really long. Luckily on the way to Cuba the plane wasn't full so we could lay down on the seats.

My first look on Cuba

I visited mostly touristy places so probably I didn't see real Cuba. But I liked what I saw. If only they had more money. Havana is renovated with a help of UNESCO, but only in front. If you look behind you'll see ruined buildings. Check out my Off the beaten path tips to see real Havana.
