Side is also a town with fascinating Byzantine, Greek and Roman ruins, some dating from the 7th century. The grandeur of ancient Side's historic remains are well preserved. Theater, Roman baths, various temple ruins and a beautiful fountain are really worth seeing.

This really is a perfect location for sun-and-see holiday plus you get a lesson of history :)
The theatre looks... huge, and it probably is, as well as the column of the temple. Sometimes I feel so small...
I can understand why Side is a favourite of yours. Looks like a very nice place!
Pitty I didn't see a turtle. But I loved the surroundings , the food , the beach. A great spot for a holiday.
