Side is one of the most popular holiday destinations in Turkey. It has one of the best beaches in Turkey.
Side is also a town with fascinating Byzantine, Greek and Roman ruins, some dating from the 7th century. The grandeur of ancient Side's historic remains are well preserved. Theater, Roman baths, various temple ruins and a beautiful fountain are really worth seeing.

The theatre looks... huge, and it probably is, as well as the column of the temple. Sometimes I feel so small...

Pitty I didn't see a turtle. But I loved the surroundings , the food , the beach. A great spot for a holiday.
