Like Trafalgar Square in... and other Venice, Italy General Tips

Favorite Thing: Like Trafalgar Square in London, Tian An Men Square in Beijing, the St. Mark's Square is the place that tourists must visit in Venice. People often say Italy is the garden of Europe. And I have read in a tour guide book that Napoleon said St. Mark's Square is the most luxurious place on the world. Of course he couldn't travel everywhere of earth, but I still admire his sight when I came here.

Fondest Memory: Luxurious facade of St. Mark's Church, famous Ducal Palace, lagoon, islands and rooms with red roof, the whole scene was into my view when I stood on the top of St. Mark's Bell Tower. The impression is so deep that I always bear in mind!

Favorite Thing: ascend a height on the bell tower on St.Marco Square to enjoy a distant view of all Venice city.

Fondest Memory: Brilliant palaces, wide Grand Canal, beautiful St. Marco Square, vast Adriatic Sea, all these make up the famous water city-Venice. But it was reported that Venice is being in danger!
Most of souvenir buildings have been eroded by the waves making by boats on the Grand Canal. The beautiful St.Marco Square is often submerged by tidewater of Adriatic Sea. People can only walked carefully through the square passing on many narrow plates building temporarily one by one.
Some news said the government intends to build several dykes linking each island to turn the lagoon into a big lake. Of course it's a great plan. I don't know how about it now. I believe Italian will do something about this after saving the Inclined Tower of Pisa .

Favorite Thing: The most famous bridge in three bridges of great canal. built in 16 century, a marble arch bridge. Many stores on it, but build at the centre of bridge: diffrent from the Old Bridge of Florence.
There is an open air restaurant at the west end of bridge. People are coming and going in great number and I was walking among them.
