This hotel has 20 rooms. It is a hotel, cheap, to have mixed feeling about. Some call the hotel too noisy since it is located at the marketsqure you hear the loud noises from outside. Others find it ok, and enjoy also the cozy brown café brasserie Thijs Uilenspiegel wich is located under the hotel. La Colombe means piguon in french, reffering to the fact that this buiding once housed the largest pigeons socity in town. At eveings you can start your nightlife at the brassery again since it is open as a pub till 2 am

It has the atmosphere of a small villahotel like there are so many to be found in Italy. Yet, and that is what it makes it interesting, it fully fits in Maastricht!! The hotel has done a great deal on decoration and this is what it makes so special. (The salon f.e. has trompe l'oeil paintings, inspired on Michelangelo. ). The breakfast offers a large range of tasteful things for the hunger, fresh bread -- several sorts -- all sorts of foreign and local cheese. delicious. After vistiting the town you can relax in the saloon with a special beer or a whiskey. The owners are hospitable and friendly. This all garuantees a great stay.
