POLSKA - Poland

Poland is a great country to visit. I first visit Poland for 5 day's during a seminar in Poznan. I was quite impressed by its friendly people and beautifull landscape, that I decided to return in 1999, for a longer stay. Being a Eastern-Europe fanatic is was also a good opportunity to compare Poland to other Eastern-European countries I already had visited. The best memories of Poland are those of Krakow and Zakopane. But this area is reather touristic. If you want to learn Poland a bit better you should visit Wrocow and Poznan, two beatifull towns with a pleasant atmosphere. These are also traditional Universaty-towns whith a fourishing studentlife. I even learned some Polish there!
