Krakow

Krakow

I got a good deal on the rental car
Jazz clubs, good bars, and loads of piwo .

When I went to Krakow it was Easter weekend , and thats not a bad time to go to witness the religeous side of Poland.

Easter is obviously a very important time for the Polish and you could see this from the lines of people waiting to get their confession in before the Sunday at the Catherdral in the Market place.

Not expensive

For me coming from England, Krakow was really very cheap with the cost of a large pizza in a restaurant coming to about £2 , and a beer costing about 60p .

Of course these were prices in the centre of Krakow so my guess is that you can find much cheaper if you go off the beaten track a bit .

Easter Sunday

On the Easter Sunday Krakow was full of people with little baskets with food in . These get blessed by the priest .
