Helsinki ....
Although not the biggest city you would visit , It is just superb .
I went in April and the temperature was about 0c .
It just has something slightly different from the other European places I have been to.
I mean everywhere is different, but with Helsinki it just seemed different , different .
I felt this was a place where if you left your wallet full of cash behind in a bar , somebody would hand it over and try to find you .
( Obviously I never put this theory to the test )
The architecture in places looks very Russian , in other places you get the most amazing Art Nouveax looking buildings .
and you know what ...
It's not as expensive as you think , for me it was equal to English prices |
