I travelled from Croatia via Slovenia to Italy (Mediterranean Europe) in August 2004. My first stop was in the Croatian capital Zagreb. It has almost 800.000 inhabitans and is located in the north of the country. Zagreb is well worth more than just a daytrip from the Croatian coastline.
Zagreb offers many architectural interesting buildings and squares as well as picturesque open air markets and beautiful green parks.
Croatia and especially Zagreb has a very active VT scene. So some nice VT meetings have made my stay special and unforgettable.
