Like Switzerland, Liechtenstein doesn't belong to the European Union, but to the EFTA (European Free Trade Association). It also doesn't have the Euro as official currency, even though it is widely accepted.

The official currency in Liechtenstein is the Swiss Franc (CHF). You can get your money from many cash points or exchange offices. As you will probably arrive to Liechtenstein from Switzerland make sure that you have already enough Swiss Francs on hand.
