The English are famous for drinking tea, especially for breakfast and in the afternoon. So if you are looking for something "Very English" to buy, just go to a supermarket and get yourself some English Breakfast tea. It is usually a blend of several black teas derived from various countries like India, Sri Lanka, Kenya, China etc.

And I agree thart Jordan is well worth a visit, and the other pretty villages nearby too | Nemorino Tue Mar 24, 2009 19:53 UTC Me again, coming back for a look at the new tips that you have added to your London page since March 4, 2008. Great that you also get to go there on business trips sometimes! | JBAlcott Sat Mar 14, 2009 19:53 UTC Thanks for this wonderful tip. We will be going to London in July. We are definately going here. My husband is the 10th generation of Degory Priest (He signed the Mayflower Compact) but died and never got off the boat. So thank you. | Mariajoy Mon Mar 2, 2009 22:17 UTC Interesting new hotel tip here Holger. I can't believe you paid £73 for your room and that didn't include breakfast - next time you should stay in Brighton and just take the train to London ;-) |
