Favorite Thing: Barcelona has a great architectural richness. It is not only the work of the famous architect Antoni Gaudi (La Sagrada Familia, Park Güell). There are plenty of old buildings represeting the Modernsime (Catalan Art Nouveau) all around the town. Gothic and Roman architectural styles can be seen in the Gothic Quarter (Barri Gotic) east of La Rambla.

Favorite Thing: Barcelona has plenty of Internet cafes, especially near La Rambla and beween Placa de Catalunya and the University. I often went to the easyInternetCafes at La Rambla or at Ronda Universitat. Depending on the daytime they charge between 0,80 and 2,00 EURO per hour. You purchase a credit number at a machine. Then you are able to log on at any PC as often as you like until the credit is exceeded.

Favorite Thing: Most of the tourist spots in Barcelona are located in walking distance to La Rambla and in the Gothic Quarter (Barri Gotic). A stroll through the narrow alleyways and along the broad avenues offers many hidden views of the city. Monumental plazas and fountains, cafes and bars invite for a short break.
