    • Take a daytrip by ferry to the blue island of Capri. The ferry ride takes about 40 to 60 minutes from Sorrento. Capri offers a dramatic rocky coastline with nice beaches, bays and mountains. There are two villages on the island: Capri and Anacapri.

    • Take a bustrip along the Amalfi Drive to the seaside resort of Positano. Positano (3.700 inhabitants) is embroidered by narrow alleyways descending in steep steps down the green mountains to the beautiful bay. It is dominated by the Dome Santa Maria Assunta.
    In high season Positano can be overrun by busloads of tour groups.

    • Make a bustrip along the Amalfi Drive to the seaside resort of Amalfi. Amalfi has rocky cliffs and beautiful beaches. The town itsself offers plenty of shopping possibilities around the Cathedral Square. The famous Cathedral rises at the end of steep steps and dominates the Square.

    • The seaside resort of Marina di Cantone near Nerano is well worth a visit. It has a nice beach girded by the green hills and rocky mountains. There are a few local posh seafood restaurants with own landing stage for the luxury boats. Especially on sunday it is the perfect place for people watching.
