Beautiful

A beautiful valley

I stopped in the Hunza valley for 2 nights before crossing to China via the Karakoram Highway.
This is definitely a place that gets a lot of travelers, and also a very beautiful place to visit
This is the path up to the main Fort in Karimabad. Gorgeous!
Beautifully restored

The fort on the hill

Overlooking Karimabad and the Hunza Valley is a recently beautifully restored fort.
The entrance fee is 300 rupees ($5) for foreigners and was worth the price (a tour is included).

On the tour we were shown a slide of a Hunza resident who supposedly lived to be 108 (he looked 70) and had even apparently grown a new set of teeth. Please draw your own conclusions.
