The best way to see Rome is by walking, we spent most part of the week walked from sight to sight, each morning we walked from our hotel close to the main terminal, take the bus to 1st landmark, then walked till we can not walk any more, take a bus break to another area, start the whole thing again till we run out of steam, grab a bite in some cafe with fixed menu or a slice of pizza in small bakeries. I still don't know whether the pizza really tasted better or because we are exhausted and hungry from all that walking. The weather in March was almost perfect, sunny and bright everyday. great for walking and taking pictures. |
