The Medieval City IS still inhabited today! We spent four days marvel around this great medieval castle, took lots of pics and walked all the paths in and out, and very much enjoyed the whole castle without taking a tour, NO tour in English, what can I say.
My favorite view is from one of the arched gate (right on top of the right side of the pic),looking at the city of Carcassonne down below with the fabulous fall colors in the bright Southern France sunshine. I tried so many shots as in the travelogue, but none of them can show what I call "Oh! My god!" magnificent view. |
