World Heritage town by Unesco, Porto has a beautiful medieval centre full of churches and old buildings. Many interesting museums (such as Serralves, Soares dos Reis), beautiful overlooks, romantic narrow streets, great restaurants, old bridges, cheap stores, funky old trams, a beach seaside, a river front, shoppings Porto has it all. What is really a pitty is the fact that the city centre is not recovered as it should be. That would give to the city an extra splendour. |
