I came to Kumamoto as a jump off point in order to visit Mt. Aso and of course because I wanted to see the Kumamoto tramways. By the time I got to Kumamoto I was already castled out, so I only enjoyed the view from outside.

When I was child, I lived here for 2 years as my father was working here. Very hot in summer but it is a good city. The castle is nice also. I am still in a best friend who come from K.

Kumamoto Castle looks very picturesque! Too bad your hotel room was not of the highest standards, but at least you survived!
