Beware unrooted trees by hurricane Kiryll!

Hurricane Kiryll devasted large parts of the Sauerland on 18th January 2007. It will take months or even years until everything is cleared up. Meanwhile you will see many uprooted trees and some still lie on minor roads. Also in the forests there are half fallen trees which will have to be felled eventually. So watch where you step!

Don't drink!

If hiking watch out from which taps you refill your water bottle. If you see the sign "Kein Trinkwasser" then let it be as it means no drinking water.
