We came to Lepetane on a day trip from Herceg Novi via Kamenari.

Lepetane is a small peaceful village on the shore of the Verige strait, the narrowest part of the Bay of Kotor. At the ferry there is a small café and nearby by the small chapel there is a small supermarket where we bought some drinks.

Pity that small church has been left in such sorry state - but nevetheless, the place looks charming and interesting. Lovely little page with practical info :)

Hi Sonja, you keep going to these great little places that I have never even heard of. But I see from the map that it is not far from Dubrovnik. It's good that pedestrians can ride the ferry for free.

Lovely little page about this gem of the Boka Kotorska (Bay of Kotor). Here the bay is called the Verige strait, as the bay is at its narrowest part. *winkygrin*

nice views of ruins although it seems it is not pleasant tp walk along the path to the ruins :-)
