We came to Neubeuern in the Inn valley when we stayed on the Samerberg nearby.

Neubeuern is quite famous as a lot of TV films such as the Rosenheim Cops used the colourful houses as background for their scenes.

Already the Romans built as castle on the top of the rocky outcrop in order to control the Inn valley. In 1334 Neubeuern received the free market rights and its own justice.

Hi Sonja, good that you have posted VT's first and only page on Neubeuern. I've been to Rosenheim on business, but never explored the surrounding countryside. Looks nice, except for the lack of public transport.

Bavaria is a part of Germany that I would like to visit. Neubeuern looks nice!
