Suzdal is one of my favourite places. I have been there twice within 10 days. If you get the chance, you absolutely must go there. There are lots of lovely churches and pretty landscape. It's really a village with no ugly new buildings in the center and no highrise buildings. It's a very unusal place indeed.

Isn't it a wonderful place? I wish I had been able to spend more time there. I wish I had gotten some video of the bell rining at 11am so that I could post it here!
Thanks Sonja for refreshing memories about this fairy tale Russian town. I've been there many times and always with pleasure. Nothing special in shop and trap tips in Giza but they are finished...

Fantastic page with very useful toilet tips. Apart from that your translation of the behaviour rules for the monastery is very helpful for foreign vistors who don't speak Russian. Keep up the good work ... :-)
