Medyka Travel Guide: 6 reviews and 14 photos

We didn't plan to visit Medyka but since we crossed the Polish/Ukrainian border here on our way to Lviv in Ukraine we knew that there is a wooden church which we saw from the bus. Since by chance we came back from Lviv the same way we walked to the towncenter from the nearby border post and visited before heading onwards.

Medyka goes back to the 14th century and was often visited by the Polish king Ladilaus Jagiello.

How interesting to read about what you were doing while we were on the train that day! The church looks interesting - a good detour. We saw some storks' nests from the train but it was harder to photoraph them when moving of course

Ladislaus Jagiello? Wasn't he also the grand duke of Lithuania? (I didn't really know that, just googled him.) While you were in Poland I went to Zürich again, will add some more tips when I have time.
