Blagaj is an easy half-day trip from Mostar by public bus. It would be a shame to miss it. So make sure that you come here to the source of the Buna river. The area has been inhabited since Neolithic times.

I drank spring water from that cup, wore a scarf and all .. but haven't been inside the cave - I'd love to do that some day! Lovely page, thank you for bringing back wonderful memories!

Cannot believe I haven't seen this page so far. The Derwish monastery looks fascinating and I'd also love to see the castle up on the hill. Thanks for sharing!

Fantastic page on a fantastic place. Didn't realise you have to pay to enter. We didn't pay anything...maybe because we were with a local! My girlfriend did however have to dress in the shawl and skirt provided! Amazing place...thanks for sharing.
