"Bienvenue à Wissembourg!" Wissembourg by yumyum
Wissembourg Travel Guide: 77 reviews and 361 photos
Wissembourg is a very pretty town in Alsace close to the German border. There is parking in the center. While in Alsace you should taste the "Flammkuchen" which is delicious and thinner than a pizza. Wissembourg is best to be explored by foot.
As in all places look out for your own favourite!
It's probably best to visit Wissembourg in warm weather as you can see all the lovely flowers and sit outside in a café.
- In a nutshell:Lovely historical town!

Wissembourg and Flammkuchen are among my favorite spare time activities :-) After all, it's not too far from where I live, so we frequently visit there. Delicious little page.
Oh, I missed this beautiful town. Thanks for reminding me of it!
Thanks for the report, YumYum. L'Espérance also sells the fine local wine by the bottle/case (from the Cave de Cleebourg) We had reservations elsewhere, but the food smelled heavenly and was definitely a "locals" favorite.
I also enjoy visiting such pretty towns....
Alsace is really beautiful! The cathedral is stunning! Nice page!
I was here with my cousin and enjoyed every minute of our trip ! I'm too lazy to write about it :-))
Alsace is definately a very beautiful corner in this world. And I agree, visiting this part of the world some has to try the ,,Flammkuchen``.
Hi Sonja, I remember visiting Wissembourg years ago. We ate snails at one of those nice Alsatian restaurants.
Looks very interesting and picturesque. Plan to visit when in Karlsruhe for the VT meeting.
It's certainly is a lovely little town!
