The only reason why I came to Bonn was to attend Rhineroll's Wineroll VT meeting. Therefore, I only caught a glimpse of this former capital city in rainy weather as we travelled by train outside town into the Ahr wine valley.

Since Bonn was formerly a Capitol, it must be a nice town. I was a bit confused by all the different train/tram transportation arrangements!!

finally finished hehe that took longer then I thought, I cannot understand why guests can be allowed to smoke in a reception area that man aka the smellly smoker should have been removed :-)
Some interesting old architecture there,I see. Bierhaus Machold sounds great. Maybe we could translate their menu into English :-) Great hotel tip! As I know Bonn was only temporary seat of government during the Cold War, the capital was always in Berlin.
