OK, Staines has not got the greatest reputation in the South East, but this is a bit unfair. It does not compare favourably with say, Richmond, but it has all the facilities of a small town, and a stretch of river (this can flood!)
I would not go out of my way to visit Staines unless I had a specific reason but it is OK!
